Linear project is a leading provider of linear scheduling software catering for a global market via its multi-channel distribution throughout the continents. Since the spring of 2011, Linear project services the Americas via its Canadian subsidiary in Edmonton.
The development of our TIme-LOcation System (TILOS) commenced in 1998 as a joint effort of two leading construction companies at the time. The goal was to enable the effective planning and control of linear projects such as road, tunnels and track building projects by extending Gantt chart based project planning to time-distance diagram planning.
Due to the major success in Germany, we quickly developed a global distribution network and nowadays, TILOS is the software of choice for large international infrastructure projects:

Linear project concentrates on developing methods and tools to make the planning of linear and repetitive work more efficient. Because of this, the integration of location constraints in scheduling via the critical path method (CPM), was developed. Integration with other PM systems plays a major part in the development, which allows our clients to retain their established company standards whilst using the premium solution for linear planning.
